FAQs

How can I customize my confirmation page and confirmation emails?

To learn how to customize the confirmation page that individuals see after giving, click here. To learn how to customize the confirmation emails that people receive after giving, click here.

What are the suggested image sizes for images on the main Peer to Peer page?

The best gallery dimensions for Peer to Peer pages are 700x415 pixels for photos on your main Peer to Peer page.

Can Peer to Peer Pages accept ACH donations?

At this time, Peer to Peer pages can only process credit card donations. ACH donations are not available on Peer to Peer Fundraising pages.

Can I submit offline donations on my Peer to Peer page?

Yes, users can process offline donations manually on the back end. You can choose to add an offline donation to your overall fundraiser, or to a specific supporter's fundraiser.

Pro Tip: When manually adding a donation, a fund is required. Using fund 0 will apply the donation to the overall Peer-to-Peer fundraiser goal.

The Manual Entry page only displays your supporters' fund ID, not their names. To credit a specific supporter, we recommend first locating the supporter's fundraiser ID. Here's how to find it:

  • From the Pages screen, click the pencil icon on your Peer to Peer page

  • Click the Fundraisers tab in the top menu bar

  • Find the fundraiser's name, and note the number in the parentheses next to their name

  • From the top menu bar, click the Registrations tab

  • Click the Add Registration button in the top right corner

  • Select the Peer to Peer page where you want to enter a new donation

  • If you are adding a donation for a past or current contact, search for the contact's name in the Contacts field. This will pre-fill any basic information in the designated fields

  • Complete any fields on your Peer to Peer page

  • Enter the billing information

  • Select Offline

  • Date Received (optional): enter the date in which you received the payment. This can be a date in the past, or the current date. This field is optional

  • Mark as Received (optional): check this box if you would like to mark the payment as received. When this box is checked, the system will mark the donation as received after submitting the registration. If this box is not checked, the donation will be marked as pending offline, and a user can later mark the payment as received

  • Add a Note (if desired)

  • Click Submit

Warning: In RegFox, contacts are based on the billing email that is entered. We strongly recommend using a unique email for each separate contact for whom you add an offline donation. When multiple registrations or donations are added using the same billing email, they are grouped together in Contacts, and the Year-End Statement in RegFox will list all donations associated with that billing email.

If you are adding an offline donation to a contact who is already in the database, we recommend using the same email for the offline donation so all their activity is listed under the same contact.

Can I embed a Peer to Peer page into another website via iframe?

No, Peer to Peer pages are not currently supported with an iframe.

Can I customize the social media content that appears when sharing my Peer to Peer page on Facebook and other platforms?

Currently, the Peer to Peer social media content cannot be edited.

Are donations submitted on a Peer to Peer page tax deductible?

Yes, donations given on a Peer to Peer page are automatically considered tax-deductible, and these gifts will be added to the contact's year-end statement in RegFox.
