Print badges on-site using a Zebra badge printer

Improve the ease and flow of your check-in process by printing badges in real-time on-site at your event. Use the check-in app to check in a registrant and immediately print their badge for them right then and there.

Configure your Zebra Printer

Enable Bluetooth on your Zebra Printer

Zebra Printer Model: ZD621

The Zebra ZD621 includes the ability to enable Bluetooth directly from the printer.

  1. Press the network icon on the printer touchscreen

    1. Then press Bluetooth

    2. Press Bluetooth again and ensure it is set to "On"

    3. Press the left arrow in the top left corner to return to the previous menu and press "Bluetooth Discovery"

    4. Ensure it is set to "On"

    5. You can now press the "Home" icon and connect to the printer from your phone via Bluetooth.

Zebra Printer Model: ZD421

The Zebra421 requires an additional app to be installed on your iOS mobile device in order to enable Bluetooth printing. Enabling only has to be done once.

  1. Download the Zebra Printer Setup Utility app in apple store.

  2. Open app and click Discover Printers

  3. Click on the discovered printer name

  4. Select Connectivity Settings

  5. Select Blutooth

  6. Toggle on Discoverable

  7. Select "Next: on the next 2 screens

  8. Then select apply

  9. Close that app and you should be able to pair your Zebra bluetooth printer with your iOS mobile device following the same process you use to pair other bluetooth devices.

Print Your Badges

  1. Pair your Zebra bluetooth printer with your iOS mobile device following the same process you use to pair other bluetooth devices.

  2. Open the check-in app or if you do not have it installed, download it from the app store

  3. Enter the app key for your event. If you don't have one, ensure you've created one first.

  4. Ensure you have created a Zebra badge for your page and assigned it to All Registrants

  5. Check-in an attendee

  6. Following a check-in, you will see an option to "Preview and Print Badge"

  7. Press the "Preview and Print Badge" button and allow the preview to load. Then press the "Print Padge" button.

  8. Your badge should print to your bluetooth connected Zebra printer
