You are billed differently for your RegFox fees depending on if your pages are processing through Webconnex Payments, our in-house payment processor, or a custom payment processor.

On Webconnex Payments, any registration and credit card processing fees for card transactions are automatically deducted before your payout, so you don't need a card on file to cover these fees.
Times when a Card on File is Required
With Webconnex Payments, a card on file is required in certain situations. When a card on file is needed, RegFox bills any applicable charges every 30 days. When a card on file is required on the Standard plan
You offer free events: A card on file is required for any free event pages. When someone registers for a free event, the $0.99 RegFox fee is charged to the card on file and invoiced monthly.
You use features that come at an additional fee: You use features like Drip Campaigns, Email Blasts, Text Messages, and Mobile Pay Pass. The card on file is used to process charges for these optional features.

You offer free events: A card on file is required for any free event pages. When someone registers for a free event, the $1.99 RegFox fee is charged to the card on file and invoiced monthly.
You enable offline payments on your page: A card on file is required to offer offline payments as a payment method. When someone pays for their event using offline payments, the associated RegFox fees are charged to the card on file and invoiced monthly
You sign up for Text Messaging: A one-time $49 activation fee is charged to the card on file when signing up.
You use Custom Domains: Custom Domains costs $150 per year, per domain. This feature is renewed annually unless a customer deletes the domain, and is charged to the card on file
