RegFox allows you to easily make changes to existing registrations. You can add or remove registrants, merchandise, add-ons, or other options, and edit attendee details and contact information.
If a change results in a price difference, you can choose charge or refund the card on file, charge a new card, or override the amount. You can also send a message to the registrant notifying them of the updates.
Note: In RegFox, every active registration must include at least one active registrant. If you want to remove all registrants from an order, we recommend canceling the registration. Click here to learn how to do so.
Pro Tip: You can also turn on the Registrant Account Center to allow registrants to edit their own order(s). Click here to learn how to enable this feature.

Edit a Registration
Pro Tip: You can easily filter your registrations by status, page, and date. This allows you to quickly narrow down your registrations and find the information you need. You can also use the search bar to locate a specific registration.
Note: Any actions applied on your live page will also take effect when editing an order. For example, if your page hides the offline payment method when the VIP registration option is selected, this payment method will not be available once the VIP option is chosen.
If you want an admin to have the ability to make certain edits, but do not want your attendees to select these options, we recommend setting up an admin use only field. Click here to learn how to set this up.
From the top menu bar, select the Registrations tab
Search for the registration ID, name, or email in the search box
Click the pencil icon next to the registration you want to edit

Save your order
Pro Tip: When a change results in an upcharge or refund, the new transaction will appear under the Linked Transactions section on the registration. You'll see details including the transaction date, source, payment method, status, and amount. Charges display as regular dollar amounts, while refunds appear in brackets. To view full transaction details, click the eye icon next to the transaction.
Note: If you override an upcharge or refund but do not charge or refund the registrant for these changes, RegFox will record the overridden amount in the Additional Items section of the registration. A line item called Admin Override will show the date of the override and the corresponding amount.
Add a Custom Admin Charge or Refund to the Order
Adding a custom admin charge or refund allows you to manually adjust an order when there isn’t a corresponding option available on your registration page. From the top menu bar, select the Registrations tab
Search for the registration ID, name, or email in the search box
Click the pencil icon next to the registration you want to edit
Scroll to the bottom of the page
Under Additional Items, click Add Item
Add a description of the charge
Add the charge. Enter a positive number to add an additional charge, and enter a negative number (-5) to give a custom refund
Choose the payment method for the charge or refund
Click the Send Updated Confirmation checkbox to send your registrant an updated confirmation email with their new registration details. When you select this option, you can add a custom text if desired to the top of the confirmation email, and the registrant's new registration details will automatically populate into the email
