There are two ways to go about providing terms, policies, conditions, release of liability, etc. and having registrants review, acknowledge and sign a with a digital signature.

Terms

The Terms field is where text or a PDF can be uploaded to display your terms and conditions. This field would collect a checkbox acknowledgement by the registrant or a digital signature from them to acknowledge they agree to the stated terms.

The Terms field is design to only capture acknowledgment of the terms from the main registrant prior to submitting an order and not from each individual registrant in an order. For example, if a registrant registers themselves along with three additional people on the same order, it would only capture the main registrant's acknowledgment and not others in the registration.

Waiver

The Waiver field on the other-hand is designed to collect a digital signature from each registrant prior to being issued their QR code on their confirmation email to enter the event. Once a waiver is signed, that person's QR code will be generated and emailed in an updated confirmation email to them.

Registrant experience of Waivers

Here is how Waivers will appear for your registrants

Once an order is completed, the notification to sign the waiver will be displayed on the confirmation screen and in the confirmation email. The registrant is given the following options:

  • Copy a link to the waiver and send to the registrant to complete their own waiver

  • Text message a link to the waiver to the registrant

  • Complete their own waiver

Once the waiver has been completed and signed, they will be invited to either download a copy of the waiver or to view the confirmation.
