Taking a screenshot can be helpful when describing your question or issue to our team. These are the steps for taking a screenshot for Mac or PC users.
For Mac Users
How to take a screenshot of your entire screen -
Press Shift-Command (⌘)-3.
Find the screenshot as a .png file on your desktop.
How to take a screenshot of a selected portion of your screen -
Press Shift-Command-4. The pointer changes to a crosshair.
Move the crosshair to where you want to start the screenshot, then drag to select an area. While dragging, you can hold Shift, Option, or Space bar to change the way the selection moves.
3. When you've selected the area you want, release your mouse or trackpad button. To cancel, press the Esc (Escape) key before you release the button.
4. Find the screenshot as a .png file on your desktop.
For PC (Windows) Users
How to take a screenshot of your entire screen
Look for the Print Screen key on your keyboard, which might be labeled PrtScn.
Find and press the PrtScn button. This screenshot will be placed in your clipboard.
2. Next, open an image editing program like Microsoft Paint and either go to the Edit menu then select Paste or, for a faster method, hit Ctrl+V to paste the image into the program.
3. To save the screenshot as a file, hold down the WIN key while pressing PrtScn.
How to take a screenshot of a selected portion of your screen -
Use WIN+Shift+S
Select the area of the screen you want to screenshot
It's automatically on your clipboard - just paste (Ctrl+V) into the program you'd like.
