When I disable billing on my registration page, why does it ask me to put a credit card on file?
When you disable billing on a page, the system will ask you to put a credit card on file (if you don't already have one added) because free registrations are charged the standard RegFox fee, and that fee will be paid on your monthly invoice via a card on file. This fee is waived if you are already hosting paid events on RegFox.
If I host a paid event in TicketSpice or RedPodium, is the fee for my free events waived in RegFox?

Yes, the standard fee per free registrant fee is waived on RegFox if you have already hosted a paid event in TicketSpice or RedPodium, or if you have accepted donations on GivingFuel.

Not entirely. In RegFox, an event without a registration charge is only considered free if no payment is collected. If you offer optional merchandise, registrations without merchandise purchases are treated as free orders. Registrations with merchandise purchases are treated as paid orders.

How can I remove the Billing Information section from my registration page? I am not seeing the option to remove this field from my page.
To remove the requirement for people to enter their billing information, we recommend disabling the billing on the page. Click here to learn how to do this.
Note: Even if billing is turned off, RegFox will display a section titled "Almost Done. Where should we send the confirmation." This section collects the confirmation name, confirmation email, and phone number (if enabled).
To remove this section entirely, you must collect a registrant name and registrant email earlier on the registration page, and disable the Group Registration and Group Size Requirements features. Once these settings are applied, the "Almost Done" section will no longer appear.
