Registration Experience

When you arrive on the registration page, you can select your desired registration option(s) and enter your personal details.

After you submit your order, you’ll see a confirmation page and receive a confirmation email. Both the confirmation page and email include your 9-digit access code and a button to log into the event directly.

Logging Into the Digital Event

After purchasing registrations for a virtual event, there are a few different ways to log in and access your content. You can either use the link in your confirmation email or log in using your access code. This article walks you through both options.

Log In From the Confirmation Email

To log in from the confirmation email, find your confirmation email and click the Access Virtual Event button. This will log you directly into the virtual event.

Log In Using their Access Code

To log in using your access code, first locate your access code. Then, go to the event’s live page and click Already Registered? at the top of the page. Enter your access code to access the event.

Pro Tip: If you’ve lost your access code, go to the event’s live page and click Already Registered? at the top of the page. From that page, click Lost Your Code? and enter the billing email used for your order. Your access code will be re-sent to that email address.

Exploring the Digital Event

If your event includes livestreams, meetings, or on-demand videos, you can find them under the Media tab. If the content is available at the time of purchase, you’ll be able to view it right away. If the livestream is scheduled, you’ll see the date and time it’s set to begin.

If your event includes downloads, you can find them under the Downloads tab. From there, you can view all available files and download them right away.

FAQs

How can I prepare to attend a virtual event?

To prepare for your virtual event, we recommend making sure you have a solid internet connection, a registration to access the event, and a device to view the event.

What do I need to do on the day of the Virtual Event?

On the day of your event, we recommend locating your confirmation email. It contains your access code and login link. You can use the link to log in directly, or copy the access code and enter it on the live registration page.

Pro Tip: If you cannot find your email confirmation, we recommend checking your spam folder.

If the email is not in your spam folder, we recommend going to the registration page where you purchased registrations, and clicking Already Registered at the top of the page. From there, click Lost Your Code? and enter the billing email used for your order. Your access code will be re-sent to that email address.

If you lost your access code and confirmation email, we recommend going to the registration page where you purchased registrations, and clicking Already Registered at the top of the page. Why am I getting an access code error?

If you receive an access code error, double-check that the code matches the one in your confirmation email. If the error continues after confirming the code is correct, contact the event organizer to have your access code reset.

What browsers are supported for Virtual Events?

We recommend using Google Chrome or Firefox when viewing virtual events.

Note: Some internet browsers may experience issues with virtual events.

  • Safari may not fully support chat or polling features

  • Internet Explorer is not compatible with virtual events

What do I do if my video is buffering?

The event streams in the highest available quality by default. If you experience buffering or playback issues, we recommend switching the video quality to SD to provide a smoother viewing experience.

What do I do if I'm having issues seeing or hearing the video?

Your playback experience depends largely on how your internet service provider connects to the streaming servers. Internet speed can vary based on several factors, including the time of day, Wi-Fi performance, other devices using your network, and the strength of your ISP’s signal. Here are some troubleshooting steps if you are having issues seeing or hearing the video

  • Start by confirming that your internet connection is active. If it isn’t, try restarting your router

  • Test your internet speed at https://www.speedtest.net/

  • Check that you have enough bandwidth to view the quality of the stream. The image below shows what internet peed is needed to view specific video qualities
